Steady Lift works with GE Power to supply a 315-ton Gas Turbine
Initiated by Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Shajibazar 100MW Gas Turbine Power Plant is based in Shajibazar, Bangladesh. Jiangsu Etern Co. Ltd. Was offered the contract for the construction of the power plant on a turnkey basis.
The dual-fuel feature of the power plant offers the flexibility for the gas turbine to function with both LPG and natural gas. The power plant takes pride in its zero fuel transition .
GE Power was tasked with supplying a gas turbine and other related services. Steady Lift was contracted to transport and install the 161-ton, 453 CBM with the dimensions (1,836CM*528CM*467CM). The engine was offloaded on to the barges and brought ashore. At the jetty constructed by the Steady Lift team, the turbine was offloaded on to Modular Trailers. The turbine was then delivered to the project site in Shajibazar.
